New Goodies!

 

• These are my new BCBG MaxAzria boots.  I know I posted the picture of my boots on my facebook, but I had to make sure to post it on here as well! :) They are amazing!
• The dress is also from BCBG MaxAzria.  Although, I bought this dress with no specific occassion in mind, I will make it my mission to wear it soon. It was an awesome deal, and I love the pattern...so fresh and colorful.

On the hunt for a date party dress!

About a month ago, my friend got invited to go to a date party with her boyfriend.  Date parties are when a group of individuals bring dates and get all dressed up to go out on a date together.  My friend immediately messaged me wanting me to come along to help find her the perfect dress!  We went to every dress store in the mall and narrowed it down to a couple choices.

Going to Work

I always find it a challenge to find something cute for work that will also be comfortable for an 8 hour shift.  Choosing a shoe seems to be the hardest part, since I am always on my feet.  For this outfit, I picked a BCBG dress that looks like 2 pieces, but is only one.  I love dresses that appear to be 2 pieces, because it makes you look like you put more effort into your outfit than you really did :).  I put a flowy black cardigan over the dress and added a metallic-studded necklace.  For the hardest choice of my outfit-I brought in a splash of color with some opened toed red wedges.  These shoes are pretty comfortable for how cute they are!  The wedge is small, but still gives you some height.  For a finishing touch, I added a sparkly silver bow ring and some studded earrings.

A Beautiful Autumn Day

My outfit from head to toe!  It was a beautiful autumn day when I chose to wear this.  I wanted to wear something that incorporated fall colors and was comfortable.  It all began with a simple white t-shirt and jeans.  I added some cognac-colored wedges with studded detailing and a merano wool sweater for a touch of color.

I love the colors fall is associated with, such as:  browns, reds, oranges, golden yellows, etc.  The only thing I do not like about this season is the fact that winter follows it :( .  I am not looking forward to warming my car up, scraping ice off the windshield, or bundling up in 332,234,909 layers!

I chose to do my hair sleek and straight while keeping accessories at a minimum.  My makeup was simple with a neutral brown lid, eyeliner, berry lip, and a light pink cheek.

     I am very excited to begin my fashion blog!  The creativity of fashion, makeup, and occasionally food :p, will be featured on this page.  Striving to keep up with the many roles I have in my life-including my ever important homework ;) , will be a task, but I am ready to dive in!
